I went out today to try and get back into the art scene. I haven't done any big projects in about a year and so - here are the results. A few nice shots to use as studies. Let me know what you think. I could use some constructive feedback!

Some nice curves that make a nice composition. Or at least I think it's interesting to look at.

HDLS Christmas Party!

Well, Last night was my Christmas Party @ The Home Depot Landscape Supply. We had a great time. Just about everyone showed up with their families. We played a couple games and then had a very entertaining time with the white elephant gifts! I was the first person to choose a gift so, after trying to decide which package looked like it contained the best gift of them all, I settled with a nicely decorated box. Inside, I found a small purple piggy bank labled as "lingerie fund." As funny as it was, I was looking forward to the chance to swich with someone with a gift that was more suited for me. However, as it turns out, Victoria fell in love with it! When Ray, one of the yard associates, tried to switch with me she just about cried! Everyone felt so bad for her that the urged Ray to reconsider and there was a loud round of applause when he gave back the pig. SO.... as you can imagine, I now have the little purple Lingerie Fund pig sitting on my desk :)

We all had a great time swapping Christmas horror stories before the catered meal from Carabas Itallian Grill!

Shane, my site manager, and his family

Here is Dan the Man and his egg injector he got during the white elephant gift exchange :)

Melissa choosing her gift from the tree

Vernon and his gift certificate to.... you guessed it, Home Depot!

Here's Ashley opening her gift. She is due in like 6 weeks!

Then it was Paula's turn. She got one of the popular gifts of the night, Lotto ticket scratch offs

Some nice boxers for Michelle

Pam got some nice bobble head dogs, a nice match :P

Jeremy, Karie, and Jeremy Jr getting in on the gift action

Now that the hoola hoops are out the fun can start! :)

Everyone checking out the kids gifts

Dan the Man and his bro Mundo

the snack table was popular before the meal started

Now this is a once in a lifetime shot! It's not very often you get to see your boss doing the hoola hoop!

Had to get some lessons from the experts. We are all about the PK's at HDLS

There ya go, now we're starting to get the hang of it!

Victoria definatly walked away with the most presents. She was the center of attention for many last night. Just the way she likes it :P

Dan only thought he was lucky when he was told he could have the left over present. POSE for the camera!! Posted by Picasa

OMG!

Well I just discovered some astonishing news! I have lost touch with a very good friend of mine from colleage and in an attempt to catch up with him, I tried Googling him. Well, as luck would have it, I was able to track down his website! But the what happened next was amazing! I began reading his blog page and discovered that he is getting MARRIED! Man I have missed a lot! I am so happy to hear that he has found someone that makes him happy again. I wanna try and see if I can make it up for his wedding.
